Today in class we discussed Moore and his life. I find it very interesting that Christmas as we know it today came as a result of people who wanted to stay away from the poor! Today we associate the holiday with giving to the poor and being better to those less fortunate... in a way we have reverted to the days before Moore, the days when the rich gave to the poor (only without the singing and the violence)... I wonder when that change began to take place? Perhaps as we continue reading the book we will find out. Oh and I'm feeling alot better today... my nose is still running a bit... but much better than Monday.
